Save the date: Symposium on social and legal studies of addiction concepts

NDRI’s Social Studies of Addiction Concepts (SSAC) program, in collaboration with the Monash University Faculty of Law, will be holding a research symposium on Friday 7 October 2016 from 1pm-5pm at the Monash University Law Chambers in Melbourne.
The symposium will showcase research underway in the SSAC program and facilitate an open discussion on emerging approaches and issues in critical social sciences of addiction. The discussion will consider future directions for addiction concepts research, with an interest in exploring potential new research collaborations.
The symposium will be chaired by Associate Professor Helen Keane of the School of Sociology, Australian National University.
