Recording of Indigenous AOD Knowledge Centre webinar – Drug testing: issues and implications for Indigenous workers now available
On Wednesday 9 May 2018, NCETA’s A/Professor Ken Pidd presented a webinar on behalf of the Australian Indigenous AOD Knowledge Centre. The webinar continues the ongoing collaborative relationship between NCETA and the Knowledge Centre. It also forms an important part of the Knowledge Centre’s knowledge exchange program aimed at making research findings readily available and enhancing the critical health literacy of workers in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health sector.
A/Professor Pidd’s webinar explored the issues and implications of drug testing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers.
Drawing on his extensive research and experience, A/Professor Pidd also included information about the rationale for drug testing, provided examples of drug testing programs and technologies and spoke about the application of drug testing within the context of workplace AOD policies and procedures.
The recording of the webinar is available from the Australian Indigenous Knowledge Centre website Webinar Link and the NCETA YouTube Channel.
