The NADK was developed by NCETA with the support of the Australian Government Department of Health. It is the only publically accessible source of comprehensive alcohol and drug information, and utilises a diverse range of data to present key information in a consistent and easy to use format.
NADK Updates - Alcohol FAQs
August 2015
The Alcohol section of the NADK was launched in 2014. To maintain its relevance and accuracy, the data and content presented on the NADK are frequently reviewed and updated. FAQs within the Alcohol section were recently updated with the latest available data from four different datasets. Data which has been updated includes:
- National Drug Strategy Household Survey data (updated from 2010 to 2013)
- Apparent Consumption of Alcohol data (updated from 2012-13 to 2013-14)
- Hospital separations data (updated from 2009-10 to 2012-13)
- Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Services in Australia data (updated from 2010-11 to 2012-13).
In total, 83 Alcohol FAQs were updated.
