Prof Jacqueline Bowden and Dr Ashlea Bartram from NCETA joined more than 150 people in person and online at the NSW Ministry of Health Centre for Alcohol and other Drugs’ inaugural Alcohol Research Showcase. Dr Bartram presented preliminary findings regarding parents’ perceptions and practices of providing zero-alcohol beverages to adolescents, joining around 20 presenters speaking on topics covering public support for alcohol policy, young people, low and zero-alcohol, pricing policies, marketing, online sale, and delivery. This was a fantastic opportunity to bring together alcohol researchers, policymakers, and practitioners and think about translating research into policy action.
