NCCRED symposium: Transforming healthcare responses to methamphetamine, emerging drugs
The 2022 NCCRED symposium will present new clinical research findings that have the potential to transform healthcare responses to methamphetamine and emerging drugs.
Held on November 7 in Canberra, key themes for the annual symposium include intervention research and new directions in pharmacotherapies for methamphetamine use disorder, and emerging drugs and harm reduction. Register here to attend online or in-person.
The centre has also recently introduced DARIA, the Drug and Alcohol Research and Innovation Active-Learning Network, a virtual seminar program held every Monday that promotes innovative practice and shares learnings and new ideas among clinicians and clinical researchers working in the field of methamphetamine, emerging drugs and other areas of alcohol and drug health.
Funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, NCCRED is a collaboration between NCETA, NDRI, NDARC and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
