A strong program of alcohol research from around the world will be presented at the 2024 Kettil Bruun Society(KBS) alcohol research symposium, hosted by NDRI in Fremantle/Walyalup in May.

Abstracts were received from alcohol researchers across five continents, with a full 5-day program set to cover myriad alcohol research-related topics. Program updates will be added to the symposium website shortly.

In the meantime, those keen to join us in Fremantle are reminded registrations close in late April. It is the first time in more than a decade that the KBS Symposium will be held in Australia.

The 49th Annual Alcohol Epidemiology Symposium of the KBS is supported by Business Events Perth and the Mental Health Commission of Western Australia.
