National ecstasy use study begins

May 2022

Researchers would like to speak with people who have been using ecstasy/MDMA or related stimulant drugs, such as MDA or cocaine, in the past 12 months.

As part of the Ecstasy and related Drugs Reporting System, coordinated nationally by NDARC, anonymous and confidential interviews are being conducted between April and June 2022. Interviews take less than an hour and participants will be reimbursed $40 for their time.

The national survey will help researchers understand current drug trends and issues faced by people who use drugs, and findings may be used to influence government policies on a range of issues including harm reduction and treatment.
