Project description:

NCETA is collaborating with researchers at QUT to undertake a workforce development study.

The purpose of the project is to explore the knowledge, skills and attributes of graduates entering the alcohol and other drug (AOD) field.

This research will explore industry perspectives to inform and enhance interdisciplinary tertiary education options in this field at QUT within the faculty of Health.

Participants will include AOD workers in clinical and management roles, such as psychologists, nurses, social workers or counsellors, who will be invited to undertake an anonymous online survey about the skills, knowledge and attributes required by graduate AOD workers.

Any worker who is primarily working within the AOD field will be eligible to participate in the survey which will run from mid-September until the end of October 2016. For more information about this study contact Dr Hollie Wilson at QUT: hollie.wilson@qut.edu.au
